OTHER RESOURCES

the list of other resources available for this course

The course here is divided into various topics and each of these topics is accompanied by a series of 'other resources' to help in the understanding of the ideas involved. The 'other resources' take the form of Word 6 files that describe the basic ideas and expand upon them, Word 6 files that contain the questions and answers that are found in the 'self-test questions' for each topic, Excel files that allow the illustration of various ideas, PowerPoint presentations that explain aspects of finance and on-line calculators that can be used to calculate certain variables that figure in business finance. All of the Word 6, Excel and PowerPoint files are 'zipped' to speed up download time. Software for opening zipped files is quite cheap. For example, the Winzip software can be purchased by credit card from their website.
Clicking on the small topic links will take you to the 'other resources' page for the topic in question. There you will find the other resources for that topic as well as a set of relevant links to other related websites. Further down the screen is a list of all of the files that are available for downloading in this site.
